The Bloodsword stands out as one of the most potent Silver weapons in The Witcher 3, especially once players have progressed Geralt’s skills through the story. This sword is crafted by completing quests in Skellige and Velen. True to its name, the Bloodsword excels at dealing massive damage, whether through powerful strikes or additional attributes. Its specialty lies in enhancing damage from Critical attacks, with added chances of causing Bleeding, landing Critical hits, and dismembering monsters.
Ranked among the top Silver Swords in The Witcher 3 is the Gesheft. This sword comes in two variants, both silver. One can be obtained by completing the quest “Beyond Hill and Dale…” in the Blood and Wine DLC, while the other can be crafted during gameplay in the same DLC. Besides their damage capabilities, each version offers unique attributes. The first variant provides a remarkable 20% boost to the intensity of all of Geralt’s Signs. In contrast, the second variant offers a 30% boost specifically to Aard, along with Critical attack buffs, a chance to inflict Poison, and bonus XP from monster kills. The Aerondight stands out as possibly the strongest Silver Sword in The Witcher 3. Exclusive to the Blood and Wine DLC, this sword offers bonuses similar to Iris from the Hearts of Stone expansion, but even more powerful. In addition to its already impressive damage output, the Aerondight has a unique attribute: each successful strike increases its damage by 10%. When fully charged, Geralt lands Critical strikes with every attack. What’s more, if Geralt kills an opponent with the sword fully charged, Aerondight receives a permanent damage increase.
